Jayda and Brandon are always curious about the world around them. They explore habitats, learn about simple machines, and much more as they practice making observations and inferences and other scientific skills on their adventures.

No specific background required.

Lessons

  1. Polar Habitats (Ages 5–8): Join Jayda and her trusty dog as they learn how animals stay warm in the arctic
  2. Desert Habitats (Ages 5–8): Set off for the desert to see how plants and animals find water
  3. Rainforest Habitats (Ages 5–8): Bring an umbrella! We're going to the rainforest to learn about endangered animals.
  4. Mountain Habitats (Ages 5–8): Explore the effects of elevation with Jayda on this trip to the mountains
  5. Savanna Habitats (Ages 5–8): Journey with Jayda to the savanna for a trip all about migration!
  6. Ocean Habitats (Ages 5–8): Dive into the ocean depths to learn all about food chains!
  7. Simple Machines: Ramps and Inclined Planes (Ages 6–9): Step up and help Brandon complete his invention with inclined planes!
  8. Simple Machines: Wedges (Ages 6–9): Break a big problem into smaller pieces with wedges!
  9. Simple Machines: Levers (Ages 6–9): Help lift Brandon's spirits (and a cow) with levers!
  10. Simple Machines: Wheels and Axles (Ages 6–9): Roll out! Don't let friction stop the fun of a downhill race!
