Learn to add and subtract fractions when they have the same denominator

Students will learn to use various visual and mental models to add and subtract fractions with the same denominators. Students will practice decomposing into unit fractions, moving along number lines, and switching to mixed fraction form and back. This course assumes that students are familiar with introductory fraction concepts, such as those found in the Intro to Fractions course.
