Estimate with two-digit divisors

Students will round both numbers, the two-digit divisor and the three-digit dividend, to find a rounded estimate to divide large numbers. For example, 391 ÷ 38 rounds to 400 ÷ 40. Students will then come up with an estimate for the problem and check estimates by multiplying. This estimation skill for two-digit divisors will lend itself to supporting students as they solve larger division problems.
